### Job Title: Grants Manager

#### About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Grants Manager to join our team at Kings Recruitment Ltd. As a Grants Manager, you will be responsible for managing grant funding that directly supports community programs.

#### Key Responsibilities

* Review grant applications to ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and legislative requirements
* Assist the Grants Administration and Auditing team, providing support and expertise as needed
* Gain a full understanding of grant eligibility requirements and processes and share knowledge with others
* Build and maintain strong relationships with the Net Proceeds Committee and other key stakeholders
* Engage with the community, visiting grant recipients and their projects as required
* Liaise with recipients, providing guidance on the application process
* Manage the review process of grant applications in conjunction with the grants committee
* Prepare monthly reporting on all key grant issues, focusing on key activities, costs, and risk analysis
* Prepare the monthly schedule, ensuring all applicable applications are prepared correctly
* Manage Grant Results processing and checking of final monthly schedule

#### About You

We are looking for someone with previous experience in grants management or similar fields such as key account management, client management, or fundraising. You will have strong financial, numerical, and analytical skills, as well as meticulous attention to detail to ensure that every application meets legal, financial, and organizational criteria. You will also have precise reporting, budgeting, and adherence to guidelines, as well as the ability to articulate complex information, both verbally and in writing, to various stakeholders. You will be personable and empathetic, able to engage effectively with different people, and maintain positive, constructive relationships. You will enjoy a blend of office-based and face-to-face customer contact, and have a strong aptitude for administration. You will be confident in your systems use, with a strong understanding of MS Office Suite, including Excel. You will have a strong people and customer service orientation, be results-oriented, and be organized and an effective planner. You will work well to deadlines, have a proactive approach to troubleshooting and overcoming challenges, and apply sound judgement, integrity, and responsibility. You will have a genuine enthusiasm for the sector and a commitment to making a positive difference.
