**Overview of the Position**

We invite applications for positions in our Future Energy Acceleration & Translation (FEAT) Programme, which focuses on advancing the field of magnetic confinement fusion.

The FEAT programme is part of the Agency For Science, Technology And Research (A*STAR), a leading research agency in Singapore.

The selected candidates will be responsible for contributing to and potentially leading research projects in various areas of plasma physics, including:

  • Plasma diagnostics and analysis
  • Microwave and radiofrequency heating and current drive
  • Exhaust and plasma-material interactions

The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in Physics, Plasma Physics, or equivalent, with a strong background in magnetic confinement fusion and relevant research experience.
