We want to strengthen the board in key areas of Māori Agribusiness and Information Technology. The successful candidate will have proven experience in governance and be committed to a successful and thriving New Zealand sheep and beef sector.
Key Qualifications- A close connection to sheep and beef farmers and their rural communities.
- Independence in thinking; be prepared to challenge and be challenged.
The ideal candidate will possess sound judgment and be willing to demonstrate strong leadership to the sector and our management team.
We are looking for someone who is future-focused, values continuous improvement, innovation, and responsiveness to the sector's challenges and opportunities.
The role will commence July 2024 and is for a three-year term, with approximately three days per month commitment.
