Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Programme Facilitator to join our Shine team in central Auckland. In this role, you will deliver two programs: Kidshine and Safety program (women and child). These programs aim to support families affected by family violence and provide a safe environment for victims.

You will work closely with our team to develop and implement effective strategies to prevent and eliminate harm and violence in the home. Your expertise and passion for working with vulnerable populations will be essential in making a positive impact on our clients' lives.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience facilitating and delivering programs in a social services setting
  • Sound knowledge of family harm, its dynamics, and effects on children, men, women, and family
  • Advanced ability to engage and build rapport with clients
  • Excellent ability to network and represent our service in the community and form collaborative relationships with external groups
  • A confident working knowledge and understanding of the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi
