About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Delivery Manager to join our team at FNX. As a Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of assigned delivery projects within one of our Solution Centres. Your primary goal will be to ensure that these projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience in project management and software development delivery. A strong background in software development, along with relevant technologies to FNX, is also essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading project teams of Solution Consultants, Analyst Developers, Analyst Testers, and other assigned team members.
  • Maintaining accurate project schedules, detailing all activities to be completed by the Solution Centre.
  • Assigning responsibilities for project activities and their delivery milestones to ensure the most efficient use of resources and skill sets.
  • Ensuring that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
  • Monitoring project progress against milestones and expected daily throughput, promptly reporting any deviation from plan to the Head of Delivery.
  • Coordinating with internal departments such as IT Infrastructure, Investment Operations, and engaging in client meetings; liaising directly with the client to facilitate information exchange or remove dependencies.
  • Facilitating efficient communication between the client engagement and Solution Centre teams.
  • Managing project artefacts, including project development schedules, detailed build project plans, build scope statements, build estimates, and maintains visibility across the team and group by encouraging communication and organizing regular project team meetings.
  • Ensuring that all project activities are properly planned and executed, and that all necessary resources are available to support the project.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and to implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Tracking project progress, identifying and addressing deviations from the plan, and communicating regularly with stakeholders.
  • Providing coaching and guidance to team members to improve their skills and performance.
  • Supporting the Head of Delivery in achieving the Solution Centre's goals and objectives.
  • Requirements
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
    • Experience in software development delivery, preferably with the financial services industry.
    • Strong background in software development, ideally with relevant technologies to FNX.
    • Degree qualified or equivalent.
    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
    • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
