The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for ensuring the highest quality patient care at Cooper University Health Care by managing the entire initial credentialing and privileging process for new medical staff and allied health professionals.
This includes collaborating with the Director Medical Staff Services to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as Joint Commission Standards and Medical Staff Bylaws.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess resourcefulness, good judgment, self-sufficiency, and strong organizational skills.
You will also be responsible for designated managed care audit coordination.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in medical staff services with duties that involved medical staff and allied health credentialing.
- Managed care or other healthcare environment preferred.
