The Role:

To support the growth of our business, we seek an exceptional talent acquisition professional reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Talent.

This role will be an office-based hybrid position in either Christchurch or Calgary, allowing for collaboration with our global team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic talent acquisition plan aligned with organisational objectives
  • Manage agency engagement, ensuring seamless approval processes
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to understand business goals and workforce needs
  • Lead and mentor recruiters on best practices, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Provide guidance on recruitment processes and leverage data analytics to measure and report on key metrics
  • Oversight of the end-to-end recruitment process, guaranteeing a seamless and positive candidate experience
  • Promote the organisation's employer brand to attract top talent
  • Work within a global team, recruiting a diverse range of roles across the business
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant employment laws, ensuring compliance throughout the recruitment process

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in talent acquisition, including full-cycle, high-volume recruitment within industry, as well as 3-5 years of agency talent acquisition
  • Leadership experience in talent acquisition teams, with the ability to influence and motivate them towards achieving goals
  • Proven expertise in implementing creative and proactive candidate sourcing strategies
  • Excellent customer focus, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and HR colleagues
  • Thorough knowledge of talent acquisition, including related practices, tools, trends, job boards, human rights, and relevant legislation
