As a Speech-Language Therapist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating adult patients with communication and swallowing disorders. Your caseload may include acute adult inpatients with medical and surgical diagnoses. Experience in videofluoroscopy and/or flexible endoscopic evaluation of swallowing is desired.
About the Role
The successful applicant will be required to work independently, build strong relationships with colleagues and patients, and demonstrate commitment to culturally safe practice. You will be a member of the New Zealand Speech-language Therapy Association (NZSTA) and participate in quality improvement opportunities to enhance patient care.

Our team provides cross-cover to support each other and is well-connected to our wider Allied Health network. We offer a well-developed programme of continuing professional development, including involvement in SIGs, quarterly wānanga, and access to online and face-to-face learning opportunities.
