About the Position

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled medical professional to join our team as an Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology Expert. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, managing complex gastrointestinal disorders, and performing advanced endoscopic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing secondary care for inpatients and outpatients with various gastrointestinal conditions
  • Performing advanced endoscopy procedures, including ERCP and Spyglass
  • Managing IBD and other complex gastrointestinal disorders
Eligibility Criteria
  • FRACP or equivalent registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
  • Specialist accreditation in endoscopy recognized by the NZ Gastroenterology Society
  • Training in General Internal Medicine
  • Able to function as an autonomous consultant in a teaching hospital
  • Desirable: ERCP and EUS experience
