We are seeking two dedicated Medical Laboratory Technicians to join our Histology Department. The successful applicants will be willing to learn new skills, work well alone and as part of a team, and possess a strong focus on quality and customer service. Responsibilities include receiving, processing, and storing specimens correctly, prioritizing work to meet established deadlines and turn-around times, performing tests according to protocols and methods, and using laboratory equipment in accordance with procedures.Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent attention to detail, good record-keeping skills, and the ability to work independently while being part of a supported team. Registration with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practicing Certificate are desirable but not essential.
