Social Services Coordinator

Our National Contact Centre is looking for an experienced Social Services Coordinator to play a key role in coordinating and responding to critical situations. This involves working with various cultural groups, people from different backgrounds, and completing initial assessments on children and families.
Key responsibilities include:
- Completing initial assessments on children, young people, and families.
- Working alongside frontline staff to ensure a smooth handover/transition.
- Recording information during each call-out to capture data that can be analysed to inform decisions about operational needs.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of Intake and Assessment experience and a strong understanding of cross-cultural practices, particularly knowledge of tikanga Māori and Pacific peoples' culture.
