Interventional Radiology Service Delivery Lead Role

This role is responsible for managing the Radiology Clinical Team at Wellington Regional Hospital.
The successful applicant will enjoy a mix of multi-disciplinary clinical activities and being part of a small team focused on improving health outcomes for patients who visit our service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Radiology Clinical Team at Wellington Regional Hospital.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes.
- Work closely with the Unit Charge of Intervention, the lead Interventional Radiologist, and key Radiology administration staff.
About the Team/Service/ Location
The successful candidate will form close relationships with the Charge Nurse Manager, IRU service leader, and nursing teams.
Day to day relationships will include interactions with the Radiology Non-vascular intervention co-ordinator, clinicians/surgeons from Radiology and Vascular teams.
About You
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
- Registration with Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ).
- Minimum of 4 years post registration experience.
- Able to manage and lead a team in a busy and dynamic environment.
- Experience in policy development and implementation.
