About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Specialist to lead our Health and Safety Programmes within the Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for health and safety, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective occupational health and safety strategies
  • Lead and support the development of staff wellbeing programmes
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including H&S representatives
  • Provide technical leadership and expert advice on health and safety matters

Requirements

  • A minimum of three years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with Learning Teams and Human and Operational Performance
  • New Zealand Certificate in Workplace Health and Safety (Practice) Level 3/tertiary qualification
  • Demonstrated ability to critically appraise information and share with staff at all levels
