The Role

\

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team based in Wellington. In this role, you will work closely with our senior team of experienced engineers and project managers to continue our excellent project delivery track record.

\

You will have proven experience successfully delivering complex projects, preferably within the three waters industry, working within high-performing teams and contributing to the financial success of the business.

\

Key Responsibilities

  • \
  • Deliver complex infrastructure projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.\
  • Work closely with clients to understand their objectives and deliver aligned outcomes.\
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.\
  • Mentor and support junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.\
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to improve project delivery.\
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and proposals to secure new projects and grow the business.\
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.\
  • Participate in regular meetings, progress updates, and performance reviews to ensure seamless project execution.\
  • Take ownership of project-related issues and implement corrective actions as needed.\
  • Support the development of operational processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.\
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and alignment.\
  • Identify opportunities for growth, improvement, and innovation to drive business success.\
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.\
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:\
    • \
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.\
    • Minimum 15 years of experience in engineering/build project management, preferably in the three waters industry.\
    • Proven track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.\
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.\
    • Able to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.\
    • Strong analytical and technical skills.\
    • Familiarity with project management tools, software, and methodologies.\
    • Ability to travel occasionally, if required.\
