Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an exceptional Academic Clinician to join our Precision Medicine team as a Senior Lecturer in Molecular Medical Oncology. Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating and participating in the Molecular Tumour Board (MTB) Programme to convert somatic variants into treatment decisions for people with cancer in Auckland.
  • Taking responsibility for clinical interpretation of genomic findings within 1 to 2 cancer tumour streams that match your clinical expertise.
  • Maintaining a database of molecular tests required for optimal clinical management in 1 to 2 cancer tumour streams that match your clinical expertise.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside clinicians, variant curators, and biologists to realise the strategic objectives of the Precision Medicine Initiative.
