About the PositionWe are seeking 2x Kaiarohi / AOD Practitioners to join our team. As a Kaiarohi, you will work closely with whānau to support and guide them on their journey to recovery. This involves providing tools, resources, and guidance to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals and aspirations.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Lived or work experience in AOD within Māori and Pasifika Communities is essential.
- Experience working with Māori and Pasifika communities in the health and/or social services spaces.
- A deep understanding of Te Ao Māori, commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and culturally appropriate practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively with whānau and provide emotional support.
- NZ Full Drivers' Licence.
- The ability to speak Te Reo Māori would be an advantage.
