Salary
The salary range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. Lecturers can expect to earn between $92,028 to $112,514 per annum, while Senior Lecturers can earn between $138,548 to $172,693 per annum.
Job Description
This permanent, full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for an academic to establish themselves in one of the leading dental schools in the world. As a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Prosthodontics, you will deliver clinical teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, conduct high-quality research, and contribute to curriculum design. You will also engage with all disciplines within the Faculty and work closely with iwi and Maori organisations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Hold a dental degree and a specialist qualification in Prosthodontics
- Preference given to those with a higher research degree (PhD or equivalent)
- Demonstrate a track record or potential of internationally peer-reviewed research
- Teaching skills at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
- Ability to provide specialist patient care
- Collegial approach
- Full understanding of the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and the University's Maori Strategic Framework
