About the Role
Waipuna Hospice Incorporated has an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to join our team. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, working 80 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and empathetic individual who is committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and respond to the social, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
Requirements
- NZ Registered Social Worker with current Annual Practicing Certificate.
- Minimum 7 years' experience in social work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
