**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Electronic Gaming Technician to join our team at Gaming Machine Distributors in Napier, Hawkes Bay. This full-time role involves the repair, maintenance, and installation of electronic gaming machines at various locations across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair faults in electronic gaming machines, including software, hardware, and electrical components.
  • Install new gaming machines and associated equipment at customer sites.
  • Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance on gaming machines.
  • Liaise with customers to understand technical issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Maintain detailed records of all work carried out and parts replaced.
  • Contribute to the development of technical procedures and training materials.
  • Collaborate with the wider technical team to share knowledge and solve complex problems.

Requirements:

  • Relevant technical qualification in electronics or computers or related fields.
  • Proven experience as an electronic technician, ideally in the gaming or hospitality industry.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work outside normal business hours and on-call as required.
  • A valid driver's license.
