Litigation Support Specialist

The Litigation Support Officer plays a crucial role in providing confidential, efficient, and professional support to solicitors, legal staff, and managers within the Ministry for Children. This position is responsible for managing correspondence, updating and maintaining electronic diaries and databases, file management, and preparing legal documentation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Liaising with Court staff, Ministry staff, and external members of the legal profession or advocates to support the Ministry's litigation work
- Managing sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Providing administrative support to the litigation team, including preparation of court documents and records
- Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, including solicitors, barristers, and other professionals
