About the Role

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our growing MAX team as a Vendor Risk Consultant. You will play a critical part in assessing and mitigating potential risks associated with our customers' vendors. By ensuring seamless information security, you'll make a lasting impact on our clients' businesses.

  1. Conduct thorough risk assessments of customers' vendors to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
  2. Monitor vendor risk profiles and provide regular reports to inform strategic decisions.
  3. Stay up-to-date on industry standards and emerging threats to enhance our risk management strategies.
  4. Nurture strong relationships with vendors to ensure ongoing compliance with security requirements.
  5. Develop effective communication channels with clients to educate them on vendor-related risks.
  6. Evaluate the effectiveness of our customers' vendor risk management programs and provide actionable advice for improvement.
  7. Analyze new cybersecurity findings and offer expert analysis to vendors on how to address these concerns.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity consulting or related field.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
  • Data analysis skills using tools like Microsoft Excel or Python to uncover trends and patterns.
  • Able to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Independent and collaborative work style in a dynamic environment.
  • Desired certifications: CEH, GSLC, GCPM, GSTRT, GCCC, GSNA, CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC.
  • Experience conducting audits and risk assessments is a plus.
  • Previous experience in vendor risk management is highly valued but not mandatory.
  • Fluent English communication skills for professional interactions.

What We Offer

We're committed to providing a comprehensive compensation package that includes stock options, health benefits, and unlimited PTO. The estimated total compensation range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 (base plus bonus). Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.
