Role Overview

sKids Ltd Head Office is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Programme Assistant to join our team. As a Programme Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality programmes for children at Peninsula School in Auckland.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working with children, hold a valid visa to work in New Zealand without restrictions, and be able to commute to the specified school sites. If you are passionate about working with children and possess excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

About the Role
  • Supervise and assist children in programme activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and hygienic environment for both children and staff, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Assist the Programme Manager in running daily programmes as scheduled, completing tasks outlined on the task list.
  • Report any concerns regarding child behaviour or welfare to the Programme Manager.
Hours of Work

This role involves working 9+ hours per week during after-school hours, with the option to work longer hours during school holidays. After-school hours range from 2:30 pm to 6 pm, while holiday programme hours can be any time between 7 am and 6 pm.

Location of Work

You will be based at Peninsula School in Auckland, working closely with the Programme Manager and other team members to deliver exceptional programmes for children.
