Job Description

We are seeking a qualified architect with 2+ years of experience in New Zealand to join our dynamic dual-role position. As an Architectural Planner & Land Feasibility Consultant, you will work across two forward-thinking businesses: Project-X Management and Plot Potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare architectural drawings, reports, and feasibility studies.
  • Work with Urban Planning Legislations, NZ Building Code, and Resource Management Act 1991 (RMA) to ensure compliance.
  • Assist with building consent applications, ROE reports, and COA applications for unconsented works.
  • Conduct land feasibility research at Plot Potential, helping clients understand their site's potential.
  • Contribute to R&D efforts in architectural algorithms for feasibility assessments.
  • Collaborate with engineers, planners, and project managers across both businesses.
  • Engage with clients to provide expert insights into development opportunities.

What We're Looking For:

  • A qualified architect with 2+ years of experience in New Zealand.
  • Strong knowledge of the NZ Building Code, Resource Management Act 1991, and Auckland Unitary Plan.
  • Experience with COA applications and unconsented works is a plus.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or ArchiCAD.
  • Ability to interpret planning rules and provide clear recommendations.
  • Interest in research and development of digital tools for architectural feasibility.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with clients.
