The Strategic Finance Team

The Strategic Finance team's vision is to enable Go1's efficient growth while driving towards our goal to unlock the love of L&D managers. We operate across the full spectrum of financial strategy, from long-term planning to performance analysis, supporting executive decision-making and investor relations.

About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst, Strategic Finance to help shape the financial course for Go1 and manage our financial performance. Reporting to the VP of Strategic Finance, you will work with established managers in the team to drive our bi-annual strategic planning process and reporting at the group level. While the role is remote first, we are specifically building this team on the West Coast.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Strategic Finance and business partners with the bi-annual planning process, including developing an ARR, P&L, and Direct Cash forecast for our lines of business.
  • Help produce monthly actuals to budget and forecast variance analysis. This includes identifying and communicating actionable insights to improve our performance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to prepare key internal and external reporting materials (e.g., Board meeting presentations and investor updates).
  • Partner with our Accounting and Financial Operations team in policies that impact corporate spend, and SaaS metrics.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc financial projects to support Go1's Executive Team.
  • Continuously improve our financial processes, identifying opportunities for enhancement, and contributing to the scalability of our team and business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
  • Possess a minimum of 4 years of financial experience gained in Investment Banking, Private Equity, VC, Strategic Finance or similar FP&A role in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • You can confidently build financial models from scratch in Excel, ensuring the highest quality of work.
  • Excellent business acumen and communication skills. You can extract meaningful insights from large volumes of data and craft executive-level communications that effectively convey the story behind the numbers.
