About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Assistant to join our team. As a key member of the nursing staff, you will contribute to the provision of high-quality care and services to patients. Your responsibilities will include supporting nursing staff with daily tasks, engaging with patients, and participating in handovers. You will also maintain accurate records and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed.
About the Team/Service/Location
The Fraser Mcdonald Unit is a specialized acute admission unit that provides comprehensive care to individuals experiencing acute mental illness or behavioral difficulties. Our team works collaboratively to deliver exceptional patient outcomes and ensure a safe and supportive environment. About You
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently. A strong understanding of mental health principles and practices is essential, as well as a certificate in Mental Health Support Work.
