About the Role
This is a 6 bed crisis respite located in Flat Bush. You will be reporting to the Team Coach and working in pairs on every shift. Referrals are received from home-based treatment teams through intake assessments.

Responsibilities
Advocate and support people to be well and thrive. Connect them with resources that support living well and assist in building resilience. Help people connect with their communities, building relationships that matter most. Foster positive change for a more positive life. Provide medication support for our people. Assist team members with cooking and cleaning.

Required Skills and Qualifications
You will have a caring nature and work in a recovery and strengths-focused way. Current full New Zealand driver's licence is required. First aid certificate or willingness to obtain one is necessary. Applicants must hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognized equivalent. Preferred experience in Mental Health or similar. Knowledge of and demonstrable commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
