Job Description

As a Community Maori Outcomes Graduate, you'll be part of a dynamic team working towards achieving a Tamaki Makaurau where Maori thrive. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Engagement with Mana Whenua & Matawaka to develop strong relationships and understand their needs
  • Marae support and development to enhance cultural heritage and knowledge
  • Environmental programmes, monitoring and engagement to promote sustainability and environmental stewardship
  • Supporting the development and delivery of arts, culture and events programmes that celebrate Maori Culture & Identity
  • Identifying opportunities for Maori to live healthy, active lives through community-based initiatives

The Community Maori Outcomes team sits at the centre of our largest operational directorate in council, providing support to 5 departments. We're passionate about delivering better outcomes for Maori and all Aucklanders.
