**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in providing expert psychological assessment, treatment, and consultation services to adults with intellectual disabilities who come into contact with the criminal justice system.

This role is part of our Forensic Intellectual Disabilities Offender Liaison Service (IDOLS), which assesses, treats, and assists in the recovery of individuals with mental illness or ID who have committed a criminal offence or are at high risk in the community.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with this population and have experience in forensic psychology, intellectual disability, or applied behaviour analysis.

As a psychologist at Mason Clinic, you will be supported by a broader team of professionals responsible for psychological assessment, individual and group mode treatments, and consultation.

You will provide a range of psychological assessments and interventions for people with an ID and offence histories, as well as provide consultation, supervision, and training to other Mason Clinic staff.

The successful candidate will have a postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology or ABA, registration with the NZ Psychology Board as a Registered Psychologist with a Clinical Scope of Practice, and a current Practising Certificate.
