We are seeking an experienced and skilled Gastrointestinal (GI) Oncology Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical leadership and support to patients and their whānau during treatment.

About The Role

This permanent position is based at Te Toka Tumai Auckland and involves working collaboratively with Radiation and Medical Oncology multidisciplinary teams to deliver care to patients.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and support to patients and their whānau during treatment
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver care to patients
  • Prioritize workload and work effectively within a senior nursing team

Requirements

  • A commitment to biculturalism
  • A commitment to achieving equitable outcomes for Māori
  • Minimum Level 3 preferably Level 4 practice chemotherapy certified RN with a strong oncology nursing background
