We are seeking an experienced Senior Debt Resolution Specialist to join our Collections team in Auckland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building trust and negotiating repayment solutions with customers in financial distress.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in collections or telephone experience environment, with a strong understanding of receivables management and debt collection processes.

You will be working closely with our Collections Manager to update systems, processes, and policies, monitor results, and provide input into strategic solutions.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to our financial distress customers, handling inbound customer queries related to payments, allocations, and hardship, and creating daily and monthly reports on outstanding debt.

If you have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and are able to work independently to build trust and negotiate repayment solutions with customers, we would love to hear from you

**Responsibilities:**

  • Provide support to our financial distress customers over phone and by email
  • Agree on a reasonable repayment option in line with our internal collections policy
  • Handle inbound customer queries related to payments, allocations, and hardship
  • Create daily and monthly reports on outstanding debt

**Requirements:**

  • 4+ years experience within a collections or telephone experience environment
  • In-depth understanding of receivables management and debt collection processes
  • Able to work independently to build trust and negotiate repayment solutions with customers
