The Opportunity

As a Trade / Maintenance professional, you will join our team in Auckland, reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. Your key responsibility will be to support the team with plant and equipment maintenance, ensuring maximum efficiency and output of the yard.

Your Key Accountabilities

  • Contribute to preventative and predictive maintenance programs for all plant, equipment, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow routine maintenance plans diligently, maintaining accurate records and adhering to safety standards.
  • Support production team members with their duties as needed.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a trade or maintenance role with a flexible approach to working with operations and maintenance.
  • A high attention to detail; motivated to achieve quality work in a safe manner.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or in a team environment.
  • Basic understanding of engineering processes, particularly in general welding and oxy cutting.
