Job Description

About the role

We are looking for a Recycling Operator to join our supportive and friendly team based at our tyre recycling facility in Wiri, South Auckland.

It's a fast-paced working environment and no two days are the same. You will be coordinating the shredding and processing of used tyres using appropriate equipment, unloading, and loading trucks and containers and general cleaning duties to ensure the facility is maintained and always kept to a high health and safety standard.

  • Operate equipment such as forklift, loader and excavator
  • Assist customers who come on to site
  • Accurately complete all records and paperwork, as required
Qualifications

To be successful in the role we are looking for someone with the following:

  • Full NZ driving licence with W,T or F endorsements
  • Excavator experience - Senebogen machine is what we have at the site and being skilled with this gear is a hugeadvantage
  • Previous operator experience
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • A good level of fitness is required to carry out the duties of the role
