This is a full-time position, working fixed-term for 18 months. You'll be using your coaching skills to support and develop clinical decision-making and improved Tangata Whaiora safety in real time. We're dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of Aotearoa/New Zealand.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in mental health and addiction services in acute and community settings.
- Previous experience in coaching, precepting, or mentoring staff.
- Relevant postgraduate education and engagement with PDRP, preferably at expert level or working towards.
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
- Experience in projects/initiatives that give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Toi Ora Systems of Care, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
