This is a full-time position, working fixed-term for 18 months. You'll be using your coaching skills to support and develop clinical decision-making and improved Tangata Whaiora safety in real time. We're dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of Aotearoa/New Zealand.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  1. A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in mental health and addiction services in acute and community settings.
  2. Previous experience in coaching, precepting, or mentoring staff.
  3. Relevant postgraduate education and engagement with PDRP, preferably at expert level or working towards.
  4. Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
  5. Experience in projects/initiatives that give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Toi Ora Systems of Care, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
