We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Director to join our team at Lakes Mental Health & Addiction Services. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will provide clinical and organisational direction towards service priorities and drive innovative change.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional mental health nursing advice to the organisation, ensuring that Lakes MHAS are maintained to a high professional standard. This includes advising on mental health nursing issues for the employed mental health nurse workforce and managing the interface with the primary workforce.
As a strategic leader, you will participate in local and national planning and contribute to population mental health planning for the Lakes district. You will also be responsible for embedding the model of care Te Ara Tauwhirotanga (Pathways that lead us to act with Kindness).
We are looking for someone who is passionate about nurturing and growing the nursing workforce, has enthusiasm for supporting nurses to deliver high-quality mental health clinical practice, and can support and implement evidence-based practice in line with service direction.
