About the Work Environment:

As a member of our physiotherapy team, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a heavy caseload of primary joint replacements, some trauma, and various orthopaedic surgeries. You will be responsible for carrying out effective patient assessments, formulating goal-based treatment plans, and working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Carrying out effective patient assessment, evaluation, and treatments in accordance with policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
  • Formulating treatment interventions to meet individual needs in collaboration with the wider multidisciplinary team.
  • Ensuring effective communication with other members of the physiotherapy team and wider MDT team.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a New Zealand Registered Physiotherapist with a current Annual Practicing Certificate and have a minimum of 18 months' experience. You will also require strong time management skills, the ability to develop close working relationships with physiotherapy assistants and the wider physiotherapy team, and flexibility and adaptability with an enthusiasm for knowledge sharing across and beyond your discipline.
