**Responsibilities**
As a caregiver, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing medication administration
- Conducting patient/client assessments
- Providing health teaching
Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Nursing Supervisor.
**Requirements**
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current registration with the College of Nurses and must be in good standing
• Familiarity with equipment including monitors, intravenous (IV) pumps, ventilators, and feeding tubes
• Tracheostomy and ventilation care experience is considered an asset
• Previous experience in community Nursing is considered an asset
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification
• Vulnerable Sector Screening within 3 months of hire
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to follow patient/client care plan
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent patient service skills
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is considered an asset
