Overview

NaphCare is a leading healthcare technology company delivering high-quality healthcare to correctional facilities nationwide for over 35 years. We are seeking Nurse Practitioners / NPs or Physician Assistants / PAs to join our team of over 5000 employees and growing.
We offer competitive pay rates ranging from $65.00-77.00 per hour based on employment status, shift, specific facility, site needs, licensure, and experience. Part-time, PRN, and 8-13 week temporary contracts are available.

Job Responsibilities

As a Nurse Practitioner / NP or Physician Assistant / PA, you will provide direct and indirect medical care to meet the physiological, psychological, and emotional needs of patients. This includes obtaining history and performing physical examinations to determine patient health status, formulating working diagnoses, developing and implementing treatment plans, and prescribing medication as needed. You will also evaluate patients who have returned from off-site treatment, admit and discharge patients from all units in the facility, conduct rounds, and schedule laboratory and diagnostic procedures.

Required Qualifications

You must have a current unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner in Arizona and DEA registration. An appropriate collaborative agreement with the on-site Physician is also required. A valid CPR card is necessary. New graduates are encouraged to apply - we'll train you in the exciting field of correctional healthcare.
