About the Role- We are seeking a Maaori Support Specialist to join our team in Hamilton. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of healthcare services to taangata hapori and whaanau.
- This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a mental health, community health, or primary care setting, as well as experience working with Māori and Pasifika groups.
Key Responsibilities- Support the delivery of healthcare services to taangata hapori and whaanau
- Foster relationships with local community providers and agencies
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote equitable access to healthcare services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals and objectives
The salary for this position will be based on experience and in line with the PSA Allied, Public Health, Scientific and Technical collective agreement. Additional benefits include kiwisaver contributions (if eligible), professional development, and wellness support.
