About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch operational security services that prioritise customer satisfaction and promote a proactive approach to healthcare security.

The focus of this role will be on maintaining a safe and secure environment for all individuals associated with Te Toka Tumai.

  • Vulnerable Children's Act (VCA) Clearance is essential and Police Clearance, if required.
  • Excellent communication abilities are necessary, with strong and gentle physical skills.
  • Proficient in basic computer usage.
  • Customer service or security background is beneficial.
  • A strong track record of punctuality and attendance is required.
  • Demonstrates a caring attitude towards the safety and wellbeing of others and shows empathy for those in need of support.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have cultural competence and an understanding of cultural differences when dealing with patients, visitors, and staff. You will be resilient and able to remain calm under pressure.
