We are committed to creating an environment where individuals from diverse backgrounds can thrive.We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Diversity & Inclusion Coordinator. This role plays a critical part in enhancing student inclusion and belonging by developing and supporting initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across our student communities.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with rainbow, takatapui, and disabled communities to co-design engagement opportunities, provide advice and administrative support for DEI advisory groups and student representation networks, assist in the planning and delivery of inclusive orientation experiences, and support awareness, training, and communication efforts that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:* Experience working with diverse student communities, particularly rainbow, takatapui, and disabled groups;
* A strong understanding of DEI principles and Te Tiriti o Waitangi, with the ability to apply them in student inclusion;
* Excellent facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills;
* Experience in coordinating projects and student-led initiatives;
* An undergraduate qualification (preferred in a relevant field such as social sciences, community development, or education).

Cgr Services offers a competitive salary range of $56,622 - $80,006 per annum, based on skills and experience. The position is permanent part-time, 0.8FTE (30 hours) per week.
