About the Team
AWS is a global leader in cloud computing, providing a wide range of services and solutions to businesses of all sizes. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional support to our customers, and we are seeking a talented Enterprise Incident Response Lead to join our ranks. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the resolution of complex technical incidents affecting our enterprise customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify root causes, develop corrective actions, and implement process improvements.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in network and operating system support, with experience working in distributed computing environments. A bachelor's degree and industry-specific accredited certification(s) are required. Familiarity with cloud services, high availability, and fault-tolerant design is also preferred.

In this role, you will:
• Lead the resolution of complex technical incidents affecting our enterprise customers
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across AWS to improve the customer experience and develop mechanisms that support operational excellence
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure timely communication and issue resolution
• Perform other duties as required by the organization

Responsibilities
  • Drive the resolution of large-scale customer-impacting incidents as part of a team rotation
  • Create and review documentation; design/influence new standard operating procedures
  • Mentor peers in your areas of technical and operational strength
