About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced journalist to join our integrated news team in Auckland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality news content across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To research and write engaging news stories.
  • To conduct interviews and gather information for news stories.
  • To work collaboratively with other teams to ensure a cohesive approach to our news coverage.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have:

  • A journalism qualification, preferably with at least one year of experience.
  • Excellent writing skills and a sound general knowledge.
  • A good broadcasting voice and ability to think on your feet.
  • Self-motivation, ability to work in a team, and willingness to work weekends and shifts.
  • An engaging, positive attitude and a good sense of humour.
