Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Office Administrator to join our friendly team in the Therapies/Older Person Rehabilitation Service Departments at Hutt Hospital. As an Office Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, responding to telephone enquiries, and performing a variety of general office tasks.

About the Team/Service

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a small friendly team working in the Therapy Department and OPRS, which includes Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Therapy, Pain Management, Geriatrician, and Hand Therapy Services located at Hutt Hospital. Our department is very busy, where you will be working with our professional and friendly teams that have a can-do attitude, where patients are valued and made welcome.

About You

We need someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Strong customer service skills with experience relating to a wide range of ethnic groups
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent front-line reception and telephone manner
  • Ability to work autonomously and also as part of the team
  • Ability to deliver a high standard of work with empathy to all and excellent attention to detail
  • Previous knowledge and experience in a health environment would be of advantage
