Job Description

Manage and oversee the production of one or more statistical releases, working closely with Unit Managers and Analysts to assign tasks and monitor progress. Coordinate release status reporting and keep key stakeholders informed. Identify dependencies between statistical projects and ensure smooth integration.

Required Skills and Qualifications

You will bring a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience, an understanding of economic statistics, strong project management skills, and the ability to coordinate complex workstreams. You will also have an understanding of data processing and quality control processes, with a willingness to learn about statistical data releases produced by Stats NZ.
