About the Role

We are seeking a part-time Disability Support Specialist to join our team in Central/East Auckland. The successful candidate will provide support to individuals in their homes and community, enabling them to achieve their personal goals and aspirations. This role requires a strong commitment to client-centered care and a passion for supporting people to live independently.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct support to clients, including assisting with daily living tasks, accompanying clients on outings, and promoting independence and self-advocacy. We are looking for an individual who is energetic, motivated, and able to think outside the box to support our clients to achieve their goals.

What You Will Need

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, including experience working with youth. A full driver's license and owning your own vehicle is essential.
