About the Position:

  • We're looking for a skilled Hotel Front Office Team Member to join our dynamic team.
  • You will be responsible for providing personalized service to guests, handling inquiries, and ensuring seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service, responding to guest queries, and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Process check-ins and check-outs smoothly, verifying guest information and issuing room keys correctly.
  • Handle guest complaints and escalate issues to supervisors when necessary.
  • Offer expert recommendations on local attractions and hotel services to enhance the guest experience.
  • Manage and update guest accounts accurately and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Coordinate room reservations, confirmations, and cancellations with precision.
  • Process payments for hotel services and verify credit card details correctly.

About You:

  • Prior experience in a similar role within a hotel environment is beneficial but not required.
  • Maintain impeccable personal presentation, attitude, and grooming standards.
  • Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrate consistent delivery of excellent customer service through written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be flexible to work varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Able to provide full permanent working rights for New Zealand.
