About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Electron Rocket Guidance Expert to join our engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, testing, and application of Guidance, Navigation, and Control systems used in the operation and production of the Electron rocket.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop GNC systems for launch vehicle operations
  • Implement and test GNC algorithms and software
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate GNC systems into the Electron rocket
Requirements
  • Masters or bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Mechatronics or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Experience developing in Python or MATLAB
  • Theoretical and/or practical understanding of rigid and/or flexible body dynamics, particularly 6DOF rocket dynamics
  • Understanding of orbital mechanics and/or closed-loop control systems
