Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Support Engineer to join our Media and Content Delivery team. As a key member of this team, you will provide exceptional customer support, leveraging your expertise in cloud products and services to resolve complex issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the 'Cloud Ambassador' across all cloud products, arming customers with the tools and tactics they need to get the most out of their Product and Support investment.
  • Support and focus on Media and Content Delivery services such as Cloudfront, Simple Email Service, Lambda@Edge, Transfer Accelerator, Deadline, AWS Elemental services, Kinesis Video streams, and Elastic Transcoder.
  • Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions to customers' individual needs.
  • Partner with AWS teams to help reproduce and resolve customer issues.
  • Leverage your extensive customer support experience to provide feedback to internal AWS teams on how to improve our services.

Requirements

  • Experience with System Administration and troubleshooting in Linux and/or Windows.
  • Experience with Networking and troubleshooting.
  • Experience operating and troubleshooting email services.
  • Understanding of Content Delivery Networks.
  • Understanding of streaming video, digital video, and audio standards.
  • Knowledge of video packaging and delivery mechanisms.
  • Experience with messaging and queueing.
  • Experience in scripting.
