About the Role

Tangram is seeking a skilled Programme Facilitator to join our team at Te Whare Manaakitanga Special Treatment Unit. As a Programme Facilitator, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a range of therapeutic programmes for men who have been entrenched in the criminal/gang world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing individualised treatment plans for 10 men
  • Co-facilitating an eight-month cognitive-behavioural group treatment programme
  • Designing and delivering complementary individual sessions as required
  • Taking an active role in the running of the therapeutic community

Requirements:

  • A legal right to work in New Zealand without restriction for a minimum of 12 months
  • Experience in group therapy and programme development
  • Strong professional boundaries and ability to navigate transference issues
