Aurora Energy is embarking on a significant transformation journey, focusing on ensuring the network is prepared for the future. To support this effort, we are seeking a seasoned Network Access Team Lead to join our Future Network & Operations Team.
About the RoleAs a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of experienced Network Access Planners in managing the planning and preparation of activities undertaken on Aurora Energy's network. Your responsibilities will include ensuring safe access to the network, maintaining reliable electricity supply, effectively managing resources and developing switching programs, preparing and presenting business / regulatory reporting, collaborating with Network Control, Service Delivery Team, Field Service Providers, Transpower, and Generators, and identifying professional development opportunities.
In addition to these key responsibilities, you will also work closely with the Digital Transformation Team in leading the completion of digitising the network release application process, rounding out the full utilisation of the ADMS and OMS. You will play a key role in utilising Maximo to support the annual works programme, maximise outage programming, and reduce SAIDI/SAIFI.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record of experience within HV electricity, sound knowledge of network operations processes and procedures, an appreciation for switch programming, strong communication and relationship management skills, demonstrated leadership skills and attributes, and experience interacting with a range of stakeholders - internal and external. A relevant trade or tertiary qualification related to electricity is also essential.
